Do You Have High Cholesterol?

Start the new Cholesterol Action Program to learn how to manage your cholesterol.

Old habits are hard to break, especially when it comes to eating habits. Whose mouth doesn’t water with thoughts of eating hamburgers and ice cream on the Fourth of July, or having that second helping of stuffing and cranberry sauce on Thanksgiving? Holidays and family “feast-togethers” are special occasions, so the trick is to make sure we don’t eat like this the rest of the year.

That’s why The Prevention Plan has created a new Cholesterol Action Program, giving members week by week support to help incorporate new, better habits.

By taking part in this Action Program, you will learn the difference between good fats (there is such a thing) and bad fats. Sure that large cold cut sandwich might look good, but are there substitutions you can make to make it healthier without substituting taste? (Hint: the answer is yes).

Once you are able to manage your cholesterol, every-day tasks will become a little easier and your heart won’t have to work as hard, which helps to reduce your risks for heart disease, heart attack and stroke. So, get ready to not only lower your cholesterol, get ready to live longer and healthier… and still enjoy those family holidays and get-togethers.

Go to My Activities in your Prevention Plan, click on Start New Action Program, and select the Cholesterol Action Program to get started today.
