Broadcast Music, Inc. Strikes a Note with The Prevention Plan
Broadcast Music, Inc (BMI), an American performing rights organization that represents more than 375,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers, will offer The Prevention Plan™ at a discount, to help members discover and address their top health risks and promote healthier lifestyles.
The Prevention Plan is a personalized online health improvement program with registered nurse coaching and advocacy services that will enable participating BMI members to receive a total assessment of their health status and top health risks, and receive a customized plan to lower those risks and become healthier. BMI members will have their health status assessed through comprehensive blood work, vitals and a thorough health history. Goals are established for participants, who are then provided with tools and assistance from registered nurses to take them step-by step toward improved health. All medical information is stored securely in one place online and members can access it anytime.
The BMI management team feels that their members will benefit greatly from the association with U.S. Preventive Medicine. The customers and songwriting community that BMI serves and represents understand the importance of maintaining healthy lifestyles and are looking forward to the benefits that are achieved through a proactive view towards their health and well-being.
“We are delighted that BMI has decided to offer The Prevention Plan to their members,” said Christopher Fey, CEO and Chairman of U.S. Preventive Medicine. “There is a nationwide movement toward making prevention an integral part of America’s commitment to a healthier nation and The Prevention Plan is steadily becoming part of that movement.”
