Freeman OccuMed Achieves NAOHP Certification

The National Association of Occupational Health Professionals (NAOHP) has awarded Freeman Health System’s OccuMed program., a three-year Quality Certification Award under its Occupational Health Site Certification Program.

The award acknowledges that Freeman OccuMed offers an exceptionally high level of services to employers and employees in the greater Joplin area.

 “Freeman Health is exceptional in all areas,” said Donna Lee Gardner, NAOHP site surveyor and a senior principal with RYAN Associates.

Ms. Gardner noted that the program excels particularly with respect to internal and external customer service and the use of standardized practices to ensure consistency in patient care and clinical quality. She also acknowledged the program for its online drug and alcohol testing program and its recent efforts to embrace total health management by introducing The Prevention Plan.
