U.S. Preventive Medicine Appoints Paul E. Risner Executive Vice President, General Counsel

U.S. Preventive Medicine®   has announced the appointment of Paul E. Risner as Executive Vice President, General Counsel. In his position, Risner will be responsible for all of the company’s legal issues related to its national and international operations including acquisitions, licensing agreements and investor relations.  He will be based in the company’s new operations center in Jacksonville, FL.

Mr. Risner brings more than 20 years of legal, strategic and general management experience to U.S. Preventive Medicine.   Prior to joining the company, he was the vice president, general counsel and secretary at the BRCH Corp., the largest not-for-profit health system in South Palm Beach County.  Risner has also provided legal and strategic management services at PlanetRX.com, Inc., the AMLAW Top 150 law firms of Baker, Donelson, Bearman & Caldwell, P.C., and Akerman Senterfitt, as well as Sarasota Memorial Health System, Inc., and St. Vincent’s Health System.

A graduate of Jacksonville University, Risner earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida, College of Law. He is a licensed AHLA Mediator and Arbitrator and board certified in health law by the Florida Bar.
