U.S. Preventive Medicine Opens New Customer Care Center

U.S. Preventive Medicine® has moved into a new 15,000 square foot, state-of-the-art customer care center at 12740 Gran Bay Parkway in Jacksonville, FL. The company is initially occupying the fourth floor of the one-year old Centex building, and has secured an option for an additional 15,000 square feet in the same building for planned expansion in 2009.

The opening of the Jacksonville center coincides with the opening of an office in New York City.  U.S. Preventive Medicine will maintain its corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas.

The company will be hiring 20 new employees immediately in the areas of call center support, IT, health management coordination, and sales and marketing. The Jacksonville office could grow by more than 100 positions by year end, with another 100 personnel hired throughout the U.S. and U.K. as the company is awarded additional contracts.

“Jacksonville is the perfect base for our national and international operations center due to its significant pool of quality health care talent and its convenient location equidistant to our U.S. and United Kingdom operations,” said Christopher T. Fey, Chairman & CEO of U.S. Preventive Medicine. “Our acquisition of Jacksonville-based Specialty Disease Management Services last year enabled us to bring in an experienced management team to run our customer care center here,” Fey said.

“Our new space will allow us to expand our efforts to provide comprehensive solutions for personalized medicine, including preventive care, wellness and disease management,” said Frederic S. Goldstein, the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer. “From our Jacksonville center, we can support U.S. Preventive Medicine’s ability to provide practical solutions at every point in the health care continuum both nationally and internationally.”
